Use

Discord-style text channels and voice rooms, with replies, reactions, mentions, roles and private channels. You join with an invite link, no sign-up.

Getting started

Host

Click Host a server and your computer becomes the server, with UPnP and an invite ready to send. To stay online all the time, install it on a Linux VPS.

Host in the app

Privacy

Your identity is a key that stays on your computer. Traffic is encrypted and there is no telemetry. Whoever hosts sees what goes through the server — see exactly what.

Privacy and security

  • Text: channels, history, replies, editing, reactions, mentions, unread messages and markdown.
  • Voice and video: voice rooms, camera and screen sharing (with the PC's sound), with mute, deafen, speaking indicator, per-person volume and push-to-talk.
  • Files, images and avatars: send files and images in channels; a profile photo, animated GIF included.
  • Friends and direct messages: add friends by code and talk in DMs and groups peer to peer (P2P), outside any server.
  • Bots compatible with discord.js.
  • Roles and moderation: permissions enforced by the server, private channels, invites with use limits and expiry, kick and ban.
  • Hosting: from the app on Windows, on a Linux VPS (install script) or in the cloud (Railway).
  • Automatic updates on Windows, checked against the release signature.

Not yet: the macOS app. It comes in a future version.
